The iQOO 15R sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate (including frame interpolation support for smoother visuals in games). It reaches up to 5,000 nits local peak brightness and uses 4320Hz PWM dimming for comfortable viewing in low light. The flat panel is protected by durable Schott Xensation Alpha glass. The slim design (7.9mm in Dark Knight colour, 8.1mm in Triumph Silver) and lightweight build make it comfortable despite the massive battery inside.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3nm process) delivers top-tier performance paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. A dedicated SuperComputing Chip Q2 enables stable high-frame-rate gaming (up to 144FPS in supported titles) along with 1.5K super resolution. Thermal management includes a large 6.5K IceCore VC cooling chamber and dual-layer graphite sheets to keep temperatures in check during long sessions.

The iQOO 15R features a dual rear camera system 50MP Sony LYT-700V is the primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Front sites a 32MP selfie camera. The phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps with stabilisation. While not a triple-camera flagship, the setup prioritises a strong main sensor suitable for daylight and low-light photography.

The standout feature is the 7,600mAh silicon-carbon battery — one of the largest in its class — combined with 100W fast wired charging and advanced bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming while plugged in. The device runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box, with a promise of 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. Additional highlights include IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance (including high-pressure water jet protection), dual SIM support, and stereo speakers.
iQOO 15R vs OnePlus 15R: Which Should You Buy?
Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and target the same demographic. The OnePlus 15R features a slightly larger 6.83-inch screen with a faster 165Hz adaptive refresh rate and higher 4K 120fps video recording. However, the iQOO 15R strikes back with a considerably larger battery (7,600mAh vs. 7,400mAh), faster 100W charging, a more compact form factor, and a lower starting price (₹44,999 vs. ₹47,999).
For gamers prioritizing battery life, thermal management, and raw value, the iQOO 15R looks incredibly tough to beat in the current market.
