Officially confirmed that the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro will launch in India on December 2 at 12 PM, marking the arrival of what could be one of the year’s most impressive camera-focused smartphones. After a successful debut in China and select global markets in October, the flagship series is finally making its way to Indian shores with some exclusive features that haven’t been seen elsewhere.
Display and Design
The Vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch display with Dimensity 9500 chipset and Armor Glass protection. The screen uses BOE’s Q10+ LTPO AMOLED technology with a 120Hz refresh rate, which means smooth scrolling and responsive gaming. The 1.5K resolution strikes a good balance between sharpness and battery efficiency. The phone measures in at premium dimensions with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for secure and quick access, plus IP68 and IP69 ratings that protect against dust, water, and even high-pressure jets.
Camera
The Vivo X300 Pro isn’t just another flagship with good cameras—it’s been built from the ground up for photography enthusiasts. The device features a triple camera setup highlighted by a 200MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera, alongside a 50MP ZEISS Gimbal-Grade main camera and a 50MP ZEISS ultra wide-angle camera. That telephoto sensor is particularly noteworthy, using a Samsung ISOCELL HPB sensor that should deliver exceptional detail even at longer zoom ranges.
India Gets Something Special

Vivo confirmed it will launch the Photographer Kit in India, which includes the 2.35x Telephoto Extender. This isn’t just a marketing gimmick—it’s an actual optical attachment that enhances the phone’s already impressive zoom capabilities. With the accessory’s 2.35x teleconverter lens, the X300 Pro will support up to 8.8x optical zoom with a 200mm focal length. The kit also includes NFC support for automatic recognition, making it seamless to attach and use.
Performance
The X300 Pro packs a robust 6,510mAh battery, one of the largest in its class, which should easily last through a full day of heavy use, from photo editing to streaming. It supports 90W wired FlashCharge to top up quickly and 40W wireless charging.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 3nm processor that handles multitasking, gaming, and AI tasks with ease, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the phone promises blazing-fast performance and up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage options for seamless performance. The design comes in elegant shades like Dune Brown and Phantom Black, with a focus on minimalism that feels premium in hand.
Software support
These will be the first Vivo phones to come with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 features right out of the box. This is significant because most brands are still shipping phones with older Android versions. OriginOS 6 brings smooth animations, cleaner interface design, and tighter integration with Google’s Gemini assistant. There’s also Origin Island, which is Vivo’s interpretation of dynamic notifications that adapt based on what you’re doing.
Pricing
While official pricing hasn’t been announced yet, early leaks suggest:
Vivo X300 base model: Starts at ₹75,999 (12GB RAM + 256GB storage).
Higher variants: ₹81,999 (12GB + 512GB) and ₹85,999 (16GB + 512GB).
Vivo X300 Pro: Premium configuration (16GB + 512GB) priced around ₹99,999, making it a direct competitor to Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro.
