The iQOO 15 will officially launch in India on November 26, 2025, bringing Qualcomm’s latest silicon to the competitive flagship segment. The device has already debuted in China last month, and the brand is now preparing to bring its performance-focused smartphone to Indian buyers during the festive season.
Pricing Strategy
Industry reports suggest the iQOO 15 will be priced around Rs 60,000 in India, including launch offers, positioning it as potentially the most affordable device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This represents a notable increase from the iQOO 13‘s launch price of Rs 54,999, though the company appears committed to maintaining its value proposition against competitors like the OnePlus 15 and Realme GT 8 Pro, which are expected to exceed Rs 65,000.
A Priority Pass program will be available from November 20, allowing buyers to pre-book the device for a refundable Rs 1,000 deposit, with benefits including complimentary iQOO TWS 1e earbuds and a 12-month extended warranty.
Display and Design
The iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch Samsung 2K M14 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits global brightness, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Processing Power
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the device achieved benchmark scores of 3,558 points in single-core and 10,128 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench. The chipset is paired with the company’s Q3 gaming chip for enhanced gaming performance.
RAM configurations include 12GB or 16GB options, with storage ranging from 256GB to 1TB, though the full range may not be available in all markets.
Camara
Photography capabilities center on a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP Sony IMX921 VCS main sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Battery and Charging
The device packs a substantial 7,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. An 8,000 mm² single-layer vapour cooling chamber plate has been incorporated for thermal management during intensive use.
Software Commitment: Long-Term Support
The international version will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6, marking the first device from the brand to ship with Android 16 out of the box. iQOO has committed to providing 5 years of operating system updates and 7 years of security patches, aligning with recent industry trends toward extended software support.
