Nothing is officially launching the Nothing Phone (4a) series on March 5, 2026 at 4:00 PM IST (10:30 AM GMT in London). The event will also debut the new headphone.
After weeks of official teasers showing the bold new pink colour. Nothing is ditching the old Glyph Interface (the scattered LED dots) for a completely new Glyph Bar — six square mini-LED modules packed with nine individually controllable lights.
Official teasers confirm it’s 40% brighter than the Phone (3a) series and sits neatly to the right of the camera module.
The Nothing Phone (4a) features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (1260 x 2800 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness in some leaks. It also supports 2160Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.
Under the hood sits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 — a big jump from the previous generation. Paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, it should deliver smoother gaming and multitasking in the mid-range segment. Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.0 is confirmed.
Nothing is stepping up the camera game with a 50MP triple rear setup. 50MP main sensor (Sony, with OIS), 50MP telephoto (3.5x optical zoom reported in some leaks) and 8MP ultrawide. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and 4K video.
The new TrueLens Engine and redesigned compact camera module (now more symmetrical) should improve low-light shots and portrait mode. The Glyph Bar will also work as a creative light for video recording.
Expect a 5,400mAh battery (some leaks mention 5,080–5,500mAh range) with 50W fast wired charging. Wireless charging is not expected on the base model.

Nothing Phone (4a) pack with IP54 or better dust/water resistance (expected upgrade), In-display fingerprint sensor, Stereo speakers, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Nothing Phone (4a) — starting at ₹31,999 (€389-€409) of 8GB + 256GB varient and Higher 12GB variant around ₹35,000–₹37,000 (€429-€449). The Phone (4a) Pro is tipped to start at ₹41,999+ (€479+).
Pre-bookings and sale are expected to begin on Flipkart from March 12, 2026 (standard model) and March 26 for the Pro. A dedicated microsite is already live on Flipkart.
